Canada support for Gray Wolf monitoring

Funds will be used for continued development of gray wolf population monitoring techniques. Funds will be used to continued expansion and refinement of hunter surveys, rendezvous site surveys, howlboxes, rub stations, and patch occupancy modeling. In addition, a study plan will be developed that will guide implementation of several new techniques in southwest Alberta.
