  • Quick Response

The objective of this Quick Response proposal is to rapidly design a suite of 10-20 polymorphic microsatellite markers for the endangered fat three ridge mussel (Amblema neislerii) and test for cross species amplification in the other threatened or endangered mussel species inhabiting the eastern Gulf Slope drainages (Hamiota subangulata, Medionidus penicillatus, M. simpsonianus, Pleurobema pyriforme, Elliptio chipolaensis, and Elliptoideus sloatianus).
