The goal of this project is to re-establish reproducing populations of two endangered mussels in the French Broad River. Objectives: - Translocate 200 adult Epioblasma capsaeformis and 200 Lemiox rimosus into the French Broad River each year. - Assess survival of translocated individuals. - Determine if gametogenesis and spawning occurs. - Determine if recruitment is successful.
