<descript>
The Navajo National Monument Park Classification (navadata.mdb) was developed as a primary product in the park vegetation mapping project sponsored by the Southern Colorado Plateau Network and the USGS-NPS Vegetation Mapping Project. The database is comprised of data collected for the classification phase of the project. The project's spatial extent was Navajo National Monument and an approximate 1 kilometer buffer around the park boundary (although 3 points were collected outside the project area but are within 4 km of the park).
<purpose>The database (navadata.mdb) was developed for storage and documentation of classification data collected by project staff at Navajo National Monument.</purpose>
<supplinf>The shapefile was imported into a geodatabase by the USGS/CSS/Core Science Analytics and Synthesis.</supplinf>
