    <descript>
The Mesa Verde National Park Classification Releve Location zip shapefile (meveplot.zip) was developed as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) product to represent the location of classification releves measured in the vegetation and mapping project conducted at Mesa Verde National Park. Its spatial extent covers Mesa Verde National Park and an approximate 1 kilometer buffer around the park boundary (park environs).
      <purpose>The zip shapefile (meveplot.zip) maps sites where classification releve observations were made for the vegetation mapping project conducted at Mesa Verde National Park. Field data was collected by a team lead by M.L. Floyd. Original field data is documented in mevedata.mdb.</purpose>
