Its spatial extent covers Mesa Verde National Park and an approximate 1 kilometer buffer around the park boundary (park environs). The zip shapefile (meveplot.zip) maps sites where classification releve observations were made for the vegetation mapping project conducted at Mesa Verde National Park. Field data was collected by a team lead by M.L. Floyd.
